Great Britain's Robbie Grabarz claims bronze in the men's high jump despite failing to clear 2.33m.

Great Britain's Robbie Grabarz has taken Olympic bronze in the men's high jump this evening.

The 24-year-old failed at 2.33m but still claimed bronze as American Jamie Nieto declined to go for a third attempt at 2.33m and failed with one attempt at 2.36m.

Grabarz will share the bronze with Canada's Derek Drouin and Mutaz Essa Barshim of Qatar after they recorded the same score.

Russia's Ivan Ukhov and Erik Kynard of America are currently fighting it out for the gold and silver.
