Rachael Darragh and Sara Doyle have been knocked out of the women's badminton doubles after failing to win any of their group matches.

Ireland's women have been knocked out of the badminton doubles competition after failing to win any of their group matches.

Rachael Darragh and Sara Doyle, both aged 17, lost 21-15 21-15 to Mathilda Lindholm and Jenny Nystrom of Finland, 21-19 21-18 to France's Lorraine Baumann and Audrey Fontaine, and 21-9 21-9 to Russian Federation's Ekaterina Bolotova and Evgeniya Kosetskaya.

Bolotova and Kosetskaya topped Group B after remaining unbeaten throughout.
