A dominant United States win their second match in the women's basketball, hammering Angola 90-38.

A formidable United States team have thrashed Angola 90-38 to stay unbeaten in the women's basketball tournament.

In truth USA were never far from cruise control as they stamped their authority over a spirited Angolan challenge.

Candace Parker and Seimone Augustus were the standout players for the US, top scoring with 14 and 13 points respectively.

The victory ensured the United States went top of Group A on points difference ahead of China and Turkey.

Turkey will present the US team with their toughest test of the competition so far when they meet on Wednesday night in must-see encounter.
