English trio qualify for 3m diving final

English trio Jack Laugher, James Denny and Oliver Dingley qualify for the 3m springboard final.

Team England's Jack Laugher, James Denny and Oliver Dingley have all qualified for tonight's 3m springboard final at the Commonwealth Games.

Laugher, who claimed gold in last night's 1m springboard, is on course to become a double Commonwealth champion after topping qualifying with a six-dive total of 465.80.

Denny finished sixth behind Scotland's James Heatly, scoring a 397.65, while Dingley registered 387.05 in eighth place to give England plenty of medal hope ahead of tonight's final.

The action is expected to resume at approximately 6.05pm.
