Love Island winner Sammy Root could reportedly appear on the next series of Celebs Go Dating.

Love Island winner Sammy Root has flirted with the idea of appearing in the next series of E4's Celebs Go Dating.

The 22-year-old - a project manager from Kent - starred in this summer's edition of the ITV2 dating show, entering the villa as a bombshell on day four and eventually going on to win with Jess Harding.

The pair's relationship did not last long on the outside world, however, and they confirmed their split last month.

Appearing on the 'Staying Relevant' podcast with former Celebs Go Dating stars Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks, he said of his future: "I really enjoy being on TV. Yeah, so maybe some more TV work."

When they suggested that he could enlist the E4 dating experts to help find him a new partner, he responded: "Possibly... you can see it as just being on TV. Everyone knows who you are, but also just staying relevant as in making a career out of doing something you want to do."

Celebs Go Dating normally features at least one Love Island alum per series, with recent participants including Adam Collard (2023), Chloe Burrows (2023), Laura Anderson (2022), Liam Reardon (2022), Curtis Pritchard (2021) and Josh Ritchie (2020).
