EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer reportedly takes part in this year's edition of Celebrity MasterChef.

EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer has reportedly signed up to appear as a contestant on this year's edition of Celebrity MasterChef.

The 51-year-old is based in Los Angeles but recently returned to the UK to reprise her Walford role as Bianca Jackson for a short stint.

According to The Sun, Palmer also took the opportunity to test her culinary skills in the iconic MasterChef kitchen.

"Patsy secretly filmed the show a few weeks back when she was over to film for EastEnders," a source told the newspaper.

"She now cooks a lot at home and her mother in law is a great cook so she's learned from her.

"She thinks she stands a good chance on the show!"

The new series is due to begin on BBC One this summer.
