At least one celebrity on this year's Strictly Come Dancing is said to be furious after finding out that their professional partner has chosen not to have the coronavirus vaccine.

Strictly Come Dancing producers are allegedly dealing with at least one celebrity who is upset over the vaccination status of their pro partner.

Over the weekend reports emerged that three of the professional dancers on the cast have refused to get the coronavirus vaccine, despite being set to work in close quarters with other cast and crew over the next few months.

According to The Sun, one of the celebs has been blindsided by the news that their new partner has not been vaccinated and is furious that the BBC is allowing unvaccinated dancers to remain part of the show.

"They just couldn't believe that their partner would not have had a jab," a source told the newspaper.

"Strictly is the biggest show on TV and has been trumpeting its anti-COVID measures throughout the pandemic.

"They thought they'd be protected so to discover their partner hasn't even had a single jab is very worrying.

"The couple have already spent tens of hours practising together. Clearly, there is a lot of anger and a lot of questions to be asked."

The first Strictly live show airs this Saturday night on BBC One.
