Layton Williams and partner Nikita Kuzmin storm to the top of the leaderboard in the second week of Strictly Come Dancing.

Layton Williams and his pro partner Nikita Kuzmin stormed to the top of the leaderboard in week two of this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair scored four nines from the judges for their Quickstep routine to Gregory Porter's 'Puttin' On The Ritz', marking only the third time ever that a score of 36 has been registered in the second week.

Combined with their first-week score of 29, Nikita and Layton sit top of the combined judges' leaderboard on 65 points, four points clear of Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice, who delivered a solid 32 points this week.

At the other end, Les Dennis and Nancy Xu once again finished dead last, picking up a disappointing 15 points for their Samba to 'Rock The Boat'.

Others in danger include Nikita Kanda and Gorka Marquez, on 36 points overall, as well as Jody Cundy and Jowita Przystal on 37 points.

The judges' scores will now be combined with the viewer votes to determine a bottom two who will compete in tonight's dance-off.
