Phillip Schofield could miss Dancing On Ice this weekend after testing positive for coronavirus.

Phillip Schofield has revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus, potentially ruling him out of Dancing On Ice this weekend.

The 59-year-old hosted This Morning as usual on Monday but later that night he shared a picture of a positive lateral flow test on Instagram.

As a result Alison Hammond was drafted in at late notice to co-host This Morning with Rochelle Humes today - although Schofield phoned in to the show to give an update.

"I'm fine. I haven't even got a sore throat now, I sneezed twice and that's it," he told the pair, adding: "I've got a slight temperature, but that's about it."

Schofield must now isolate for five days and will only be cleared to host Dancing On Ice on Sunday if he returns two negative tests beforehand.
