Promotion-chasing Bolton Wanderers will attempt to extend their unbeaten league run to four games when they travel to the Abbey Stadium for Tuesday's clash with Cambridge United.

Like their opponents, the U's will also be looking to continue their fine run of form, having avoided defeat in each of their last four matches in League One.

Cambridge may have proven to be a tough team to beat in recent weeks, but we think that their four-game unbeaten run will be brought to an end by a Bolton side that have won three of their last four away league matches.

Oxford Utd vs. Northampton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Oxford United will be aiming to maintain their position in League One's playoff spots with a positive result against Northampton Town on Saturday.

The visitors may have half an eye on finishing inside the top six themselves, having adapted to life back in the third tier remarkably quickly.

We say: Oxford United 2-1 Northampton Town

Oxford have rediscovered their form from earlier in the season under Buckingham, and they always carry a significant threat in attack. Northampton are a more solid outfit and will provide stubborn resistance.

However, we expect Oxford's quality to shine through in the end, even if they may have to be patient to find a winner. Doing so would be a big step towards finishing inside the top six, while making a serious dent in their opponents' aspirations of achieving similar.

Reading vs. Port Vale (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Relegation-threatened Reading will welcome Port Vale to the Select Car Leasing Stadium for Saturday's League One contest.

The hosts are sitting in 21st place and three points adrift from safety, while Port Vale head into the weekend in 14th position.

We say: Reading 2-2 Port Vale

With Reading and Port Vale both struggling to keep the ball out of the net, we think that Saturday's contest could prove to be an entertaining one.

While we expect the game to produce goals, we also believe that the encounter will finish all square, especially as Reading have drawn four of their last six league games.
