Christophe Lepoint departs Charlton Athletic after five-month spell

Charlton Athletic have allowed midfielder Christophe Lepoint to depart The Valley after just five months at the club.

In January, the Addicks signed the Belgian on a contract until 2017, but the 30-year-old made just six appearances during the second half of the campaign.

He last featured in the Championship on March 21, and manager Guy Luzon has allowed Lepoint to link up with Zulte Waregem for an undisclosed fee.

Lepoint had previously been on the books of fellow Belgian Pro League outfit Gent.
