Thursday's Primeira Liga predictions including Vizela vs. Sporting Lisbon

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Primeira Liga fixtures, including Vizela vs. Sporting Lisbon.

Famalicao vs. Braga (Thursday, 6.45pm)

A faltering Braga side make the short trip to face neighbours Famalicao in the Primeira Liga on Thursday.

After a tricky start to 2024, Artur Jorge's side have slipped a long way off the summit, as well as crashing out of the domestic cup.

We say: Famalicao 1-2 Braga

While form has not been great in 2024 for Braga, this is an excellent opportunity for them to return to winning ways, but defensive issues may mean it will be closer than they would prefer.

Famalicao took advantage to beat an underwhelming Casa Pia side last weekend and will almost certainly find it tougher here despite familiar surroundings, and may well suffer a narrow defeat.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Vizela vs. Sporting Lisbon (Thursday, 8.45pm)

Two sides fighting at opposite ends of the Primeira Liga table will square off on Thursday, as strugglers Vizela welcome league leaders Sporting Lisbon.

On the back of four straight victories, the visitors sit just a point clear of rivals Benfica at the summit of Portugal's top flight, while their visitors are three points adrift of safety and without a league win in the last seven outings.

We say: Vizela 0-3 Sporting Lisbon

The loss of several key players to international duty certainly has not seemed to affect Sporting Lisbon thus far, and we again see them having far too much for a struggling side on Thursday.

With an abundance of quality in all departments, particularly going forward, Amorim's side should cruise to another victory in their bid to build a lead in the race for the Primeira Liga title.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
