Ousmane Dembele - out of contract at Barcelona next summer - says that he is in no rush to pen a new deal at Camp Nou.

Ousmane Dembele has insisted that he is in no rush to pen a new deal with Barcelona despite the fact that his current contract is due to expire next summer.

The 24-year-old was a regular for Ronald Koeman's side during the 2020-21 campaign, making 44 appearances in all competitions, contributing 11 goals and five assists in the process.

Dembele's current deal is due to expire next June, but the France international has said that neither he nor Barca are in a hurry to come to a fresh agreement.

"I don't know, we'll see," Dembele told L'Equipe. "We'll meet with Barcelona's directors. There's still lots of time, I'm in no rush. They aren't either. We'll see what happens. I'm just fully focused on Euro 2020 right now. Then I'll go on holiday after what will have been a very long season."

The World Cup winner, who is with his country preparing for Euro 2020, has previously been linked with both Manchester United and Juventus.

A recent report claimed that the Catalan giants had offered Dembele a new contract on reduced wages due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
