Gareth Bale 'booked in to play Friday golf with Daniel Levy'

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale is allegedly booked in to play golf with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy ahead of completing a switch to his former club.

Gareth Bale is reportedly scheduled to play golf with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy ahead of a proposed exit from Real Madrid.

Over the past few days, it has been widely documented that the Wales international is on the brink of returning to the North London outfit on a season-long loan deal.

The 31-year-old is allegedly due to fly to England on Friday, where he will go through the final stages of the agreement before being announced as Spurs' latest signing later in the day.

However, a photo leaked on social media appears to show Bale booked in to play golf with Levy and Spurs chief scout Steve Hitchin in the afternoon.

The image has gained significant traction due to Bale being known to have played golf on a regular basis during his time in Madrid.

Bale will not be signed in time to feature against Southampton, another of his former clubs, on Sunday.
