Russell Wilson: "I would honestly play two sports"

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson reveals that he has not given up on his ambition to play baseball as well as the NFL.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has revealed that he could play in the MLB as well as the NFL in his role with the Texas Rangers.

The 26-year-old has become one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL after guiding the Seahawks to a Super Bowl triumph in the 2013 season, and within one play of repeating the feat in 2014.

Wilson also forged a reputation for his ability in baseball when he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2010 before being traded to the Rangers in 2013, although he has never played a professional match in the league because of his duties with the Seahawks.

"You never want to kill the dream of playing two sports," Wilson told HBO. "I would honestly play two sports."

Wilson has thrown for 9,950 yards along with 72 touchdowns to 26 interceptions in his three years in the NFL.
