Burnley quartet offered new deals

Veteran defender Michael Duff, 36, Junior Stanislas, Luke O'Neill and Daniel Lafferty are all offered new contracts to stay at Burnley on their return to the Premier League.

Veteran centre-back Michael Duff is among four Burnley players who have been offered new contracts to stay with the club on their return to the Premier League.

Duff, 36, started 41 games for the Clarets as they surprised many by gaining automatic promotion from the Championship as runners-up to Leicester City.

His fellow defenders, Daniel Lafferty and Luke O'Neill, who did not feature at all for the Lancashire outfit last term, are also retained by Burnley manager Sean Dyche.

Winger Junior Stanislas is another who has been given the option to stay at Turf Moor for next campaign, and will present Dyche with some top-flight experience from his time at West Ham United.

David Edgar is one of the quartet of players that Burnley have released following the end of their contracts.
