Conference roundup: Aldershot Town down 10-man Kidderminster Harriers

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Wednesday's games in the Conference.

Aldershot Town eased to a win over Kidderminster Harriers after the hosts were reduced to 10 men early in the second half in the Conference Premier this evening.

After a quiet first half, the visitors were awarded a penalty shortly after the restart when Jared Hodgkiss charged into Andre McCollin in the box, earning the Kidderminster man a straight red.

Brett Williams stepped up the take the spot kick, breaking the deadlock, before Mark Molesley made it two with a long-range effort later on.

A goal either side of half time ensured that Woking shared the points with Wrexham as the sides met for the second time in four days.

Wrexham appeared to be heading for their second win, having knocked Woking out of the FA Cup at the weekend, when Andy Bishop headed in from a Mark Carrington cross just before the break.

However, Chris Arthur picked out Scott Rendell just after the restart to ensure that the sides finished level.

AFC Telford United held on to secure a win over Altrincham, helping them cut the gap at the bottom of the table.

Sam Smith bundled the ball in in the first half to give the hosts the lead, before Adam Farrell appeared to have sealed the points just before the start of stoppage time.

Kyle Perry tried to give the visitors some late hope, but his injury-time strike was just a consolation.

Results in full: AFC Telford United 2-1 Altrincham, Kidderminster Harriers 0-2 Aldershot Town, Woking 1-1 Wrexham
