Nacional and Atletico Goianiense face off in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana quarter-finals at the Gran Parque Central on Tuesday evening.

Both teams head into this one looking to steal a march on the other ahead of the return leg at the Estadio Antonio Accioly next week on August 9.

Nacional's form on their own turf heading into this one means that it is hard to envisage any other outcome than a home win. We are backing the hosts to cruise to a relatively comfortable victory and take a significant lead into the second leg.

Tachira vs. Independiente (Wednesday, 1.30am)

Deportivo Tachira play host to Independiente del Valle at Estadio Polideportivo de Pueblo Nuevo in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana quarter-finals on Tuesday.

The home side defeated Santos on penalties in the previous round, while the away side saw off the threat of Lanus with a 2-1 victory on aggregate.

We say: Deportivo Tachira 1-1 Independiente del Valle

The onus is largely on the home side to seize the initiative and secure a first-leg advantage heading into the return leg. We fancy them to come out on top, albeit by only a narrow margin.
