Alex Danson: 'England not looking past semi-final'

England women's forward Alex Danson insists that no-one in the side is looking past Spain ahead of their EuroHockey 2015 semi-final on Friday night.

England women's forward Alex Danson has insisted that her side are a "one-game mentality team" ahead of their EuroHockey 2015 semi-final with Spain.

England came through the group stages without losing a game, but despite being favourites to overcome their last-four opponents, Danson has indicated that they won't take anything for granted against a "skilful" team.

The 30-year-old told BBC Sport: "You never want to look too far ahead, but if I am honest, it would be incredible, absolutely incredible. We are a one-game mentality team.

"They have a lot of movement in their play and they have got a lot of very skilful players."

Germany, who England beat 4-1 earlier this week, and the Netherlands will contest the other semi-final.
