Gloucester 20-29 Newcastle Falcons

Newcastle Falcons beat Gloucester 29-20 on the road.

Newcastle Falcons have beaten Gloucester 29-20 on the road in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.

Falcons fly-half Jimmy Gopperth kicked four first-half penalties to fire his side in front, before opposite number Freddie Burns kicked a pair for the home team.

Ally Hogg set up Gopperth to add another couple of points to his tally prior to the break by scoring the first try of the game in the final minutes of the first half.

Burns added three more penalties to his total after the break, but Gopperth's fifth and substitute Mark Wilson's late five points put the visitors out of reach.
