Sunday's Premier League predictions including Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal vs. Spurs (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Seeking to continue their streak of Emirates supremacy against their arch nemesis, Arsenal play host to Tottenham Hotspur for Sunday's blockbuster Premier League North London derby.

Both capital giants sit on 13 points from their opening five games of the new term, but Mikel Arteta's side also come into the mouthwatering clash on the back of a Champions League thumping of PSV Eindhoven.

We say: Arsenal 3-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal's powers can sometimes wane when faced with a low block, but the Gunners ran riot against a bolder PSV team and will need no second invitation to subject an aggressive, front-footed Spurs side to similar treatment, as Postecoglou should not be expected to abandon his principles.

Clean sheets at home still elude the Gunners in the Premier League, but if their performance on Wednesday is anything to go by, Arteta's men have rediscovered their clinical edge and should end Postecoglou's unbeaten start with their customary Emirates North London derby triumph.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Brighton vs. Bournemouth (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Having been subjected to a rude awakening in the Europa League, Brighton & Hove Albion seek to get back on track in the Premier League when they welcome Bournemouth to the Amex Stadium on Sunday.

The Seagulls were beaten 3-2 by AEK Athens in their inaugural continental match on Thursday, while the Cherries most recently held Chelsea to a goalless draw in the top flight.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 Bournemouth

Fatigue and fresh concerns over as many as four players will both threaten Brighton's chances of an immediate return to winning ways, but De Zerbi's men have a taste for goals in the top flight, especially in front of the Amex crowd.

A front-footed Bournemouth can still trouble the Seagulls' permeable defence, but Brighton should make up for their shortcomings at the back with scintillating play in attack to prevail.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Chelsea vs. Aston Villa (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Chelsea will go in search of just a second Premier League win of the season on Sunday, when they welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge.

In five league games under Mauricio Pochettino, the Blues have amassed just five points, while their visitors will aim to crack the top six with what would be a second straight win in England's top flight.

We say: Chelsea 1-1 Aston Villa

Still wounded from last season and adjusting to their new boss, and with the squad heavily impacted by injuries, we do not see Chelsea putting a second league win of the season on the board on Sunday, instead opting for another draw for the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Liverpool vs. West Ham (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Having both claimed opening Europa League wins in eerily identical circumstances, Premier League high-flyers Liverpool and West Ham United resume domestic action at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds came from behind to beat LASK Linz 3-1 in midweek, while the Hammers also recovered from a one-goal deficit to see off Backa Topola in Europe.

We say: Liverpool 3-1 West Ham United

Barring Liverpool's 3-0 win over Aston Villa earlier this month, both teams have found the back of the net in every one of the Reds' and West Ham's fixtures this term, and an entertaining encounter with plenty of goalmouth action should be on the menu at Anfield too.

Klopp and Moyes will both be able to recall well-rested big-hitters to their respective starting lineups as well, and while Liverpool's sheets will likely remain unclean, the Merseyside giants should capitalise on the Hammers' ongoing defensive frailties to record a sixth win on the bounce.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Sheff Utd vs. Newcastle (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Newcastle United will travel to Bramall Lane to take on Sheffield United on Sunday in the final offering of the sixth round of Premier League fixtures this season.

A victory last weekend saw the visitors climb to 12th spot in the top-flight table, while their hosts sit 17th with two points on the board following an agonising defeat last time out.

We say: Sheffield United 1-2 Newcastle United

Sheffield United have certainly been competitive in all of their tough fixtures this season, and we expect the same on Sunday but ultimately see them falling just short again against a Newcastle United side full of superior quality.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
