FC Utrecht stormed to a 6-1 win against Dordrecht in this afternoon's Eredivisie clash at the Stadion Galgenwaard, with Sebastien Haller netting four goals.

The hosts opened the scoring on the quarter-hour mark when Edouard Duplan cut inside and set up the young Frenchman, who had the simple task of slotting home.

Seven minutes before the break, Haller struck again when, finding himself unmarked, he bore down on the Dordrecht goal and slammed an effort into the far corner.

Just three minutes after the restart, the 20-year-old striker was given the chance to secure his hat-trick from the spot after a foul in the box, and duly sent his penalty past the Dordrecht keeper to put the hosts out of reach.

Utrecht then went down to 10 men on the hour when Willem Janssen was shown a second yellow card, and the visitors capitalised when Josimar Lima converted Robin Gosens's free kick delivery.

In the 77th minute, however, personnel parity was restored when the Dordrecht scorer was himself sent off for accruing a second booking.

Haller was not done yet and in the 80th minute he was first to a deep ball, which he collected and tucked home for his fourth goal.

In a whirlwind final 10 minutes, Christiaan Kum and Jeff Hardeveld bagged further goals for the hosts, while Dordrecht's Marvin Peersman was shown a straight red for violent conduct to leave his side with nine men.
