Fatih Karagumruk will welcome already-relegated Goztepe SK on Saturday afternoon as the hosts look to keep alive their outside shot of European qualification.

Needing to win all three of their remaining games to hold any hopes of playing on the continent, Karagumruk will be confident of taking three points against a despondent Goztepe side.

Having enjoyed a relatively impressive season, Karagumruk will no doubt be disappointed not to have been in better contention for a European position.

Seven points behind third-placed Istanbul Basaksehir with just three games left to play, it looks as if Karagumruk's dream of playing in Europe will eventually fall short.

Recent results have been going in their favour, however, with Karagumruk boasting just one defeat from the last six Super Lig outings.

Hoping to stretch that run to seven this weekend, a Goztepe side without any wins in the league since late January are unlikely to pose many threats.

A run of 11 games without a win was ultimately what cost Goztepe their position in the top-flight, with the Goz Goz set for second tier football next season.

Only bottom-placed Yeni Malatyaspor boast fewer points than Goztepe this season, with their fate having been sealed at the end of last month.

Their hopes of ending the campaign on a high appear slim, not least given the fact they have never beaten Karagumruk in the first tier.

Having only ever managed victories in the cup, Goztepe will be desperate to secure a first Super Lig win over Karagumruk before dropping into the second tier.

Sorrows on the pitch have also transpired over to the treatment room for Goztepe, who will be without veteran defender Steven Caulker for the weekend clash.

The centre-back is nursing a muscle injury, with teammate Torgeir Borven also absent through injury.

Meanwhile, Stelios Kitsiou will also not be available for Goztepe as the midfielder serves the final game of his suspension.

While not as lengthy as Goztepe's injury list, Karagumruk will also be without key personnel, including Kerim Frei, who is missing with a niggle.

Rayyan Baniya is likely to need a late fitness test ahead of the clash, with the defender not expected to be among the starting XI.
