The attacker, who turns 39 later this month, features in attack alongside Edin Dzeko and Gervinho, who is also recalled to the starting lineup in favour of Mohamed Salah.

Miralem Pjanic misses out after injuring his calf on international duty, while Antonio Rudiger comes in at centre-back and Daniele de Rossi moves back into midfield to replace Radja Nainggolan, who drops to the bench.

For the hosts, former Aston Villa man Aleksandar Tonev starts in midfield with Federico Dionisi partnering Daniel Ciofani in attack.
