Wednesday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Fiorentina

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Serie A matches, including Inter Milan vs. Fiorentina.

Parma vs. Napoli (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Parma will be aiming to arrest their slump in the Italian top flight when they play host to Napoli at Stadio Ennio Tardini on Wednesday evening.

Parma currently occupy 14th spot with 40 points to show from 34 matches, whereas Napoli are sixth on 56 points with four games left to go.

We say: Parma 1-2 Napoli

Napoli could be without two key attacking figures in Milik and Mertens for the trip to Parma, but the hosts have been in woeful form and have injury problems of their own to contend with, so we are backing Napoli to walk away with all three points in midweek.

Lecce vs. Brescia (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Two of Serie A's bottom three face off at Stadio Via del Mare on Wednesday evening, with Lecce and Brescia looking to keep alive their survival hopes.

The visitors picked up a big win over bottom side SPAL on Sunday but remain five points behind Lecce, who are themselves four points adrift of safety with four games to go.

We say: Lecce 2-1 Brescia

Lecce have a more realistic chance than Brescia of staying up and will be confident of picking up a victory here against their travel-sick opponents. Defeat could be enough to send the visitors down and we are expecting that to be the case.

Inter Milan vs. Fiorentina (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Inter Milan square off against Fiorentina on Wednesday evening aware that they require three points to retain hope of mounting a late bid for the Serie A title.

Fiorentina make the trip to San Siro having put together a five-match unbeaten streak, which has included three wins and two draws.

We say: Inter Milan 2-1 Fiorentina

Taking Inter's inconsistency into account, we expect Fiorentina to play with a confidence which suggests that they have total belief in gaining a result on Wednesday night. However, motivated to remain in the title hunt, Inter could snatch all three points during the closing stages.

Sampdoria vs. Genoa (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Sampdoria will be aiming to continue their strong run of form when they play host to relegation-threatened Genoa in Serie A on Wednesday evening.

Both sides enjoyed victories at the weekend, with Sampdoria overcoming Parma 3-2 while Genoa picked up a vital three points in a 2-1 win at home to Lecce.

We say: Sampdoria 3-1 Genoa

Even though Genoa have now enjoyed two victories from their last three, those triumphs were over fellow relegation candidates and they were incredibly fortunate to take the spoils against Lecce. Nicola's men have struggled against the sides above them and Sampdoria are performing well at the minute, so we are going for a comfortable home victory.

Torino vs. Hellas Verona (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Torino will be looking to put an end to their Serie A relegation concerns once and for all on Wednesday when they play host to Hellas Verona.

Il Toro have won two of their last four games and are eight points above the dropzone with four games to go, while Verona are 12 points off a European spot.

We say: Torino 2-2 Hellas Verona

Torino are more in need of points than Verona on Wednesday evening and have won back-to-back games at home. However, Verona have a habit of frustrating sides and we can see that being the case again here.

SPAL vs. Roma (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Roma will be aiming to consolidate their hold on fifth spot when they travel to already-relegated SPAL in Serie A on Wednesday evening.

In contrast, SPAL's relegation from the top flight has already been confirmed and the division's basement side have little to play for in the final couple of weeks.

We say: SPAL 0-3 Roma

SPAL will no doubt want to try and end their season on a high note following an otherwise dismal campaign, but Roma are enjoying a strong spell of form and should record all three points against Serie A's basement side with little difficulty on Wednesday.
