Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Monday's Coupe de France clash with Nice.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino has multiple key players missing for Monday's Coupe de France clash with Nice in the last-16 at the Parc des Princes.

The holders have welcomed Juan Bernat and Alexandre Letellier back to the fold from injury, but Sergio Ramos, Neymar and Georginio Wijnaldum are all set to remain in the medical bay.

As well as Africa Cup of Nations contingent Abdou Diallo, Idrissa Gueye and Achraf Hakimi, PSG have also witnessed Keylor Navas, Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes leave for international duty this month.

With Sergio Rico out on loan at Mallorca, the stage could be set for 19-year-old Denis Franchi to make his debut for the club in goal, although Gianluigi Donnarumma is expected to return in time from his calf issue.

Fresh from scoring his first goal for the club in a 4-0 rout of Reims, Ramos has re-entered the treatment room, and as such Colin Dagba may join Nuno Mendes, Thilo Kehrer and Presnel Kimpembe at the back.

Paredes's absence opens up a spot for Ander Herrera to return to the midfield alongside Danilo Pereira and Marco Verratti, the latter of whom scored his first Ligue 1 goals since 2017 last weekend.

Lionel Messi did not link up with the Argentina squad this month after his recent COVID-19 infection, and Pochettino may not consider the 34-year-old for selection from the off just yet.

As a result, Julian Draxler could earn an opportunity up top alongside Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi, while Xavi Simons is another option further forward or in the engine room.

PSG possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Dagba, Kehrer, Kimpembe, Mendes; Herrera, Pereira, Verratti; Draxler, Icardi, Mbappe
