Zinedine Zidane makes five changes to Real Madrid's starting lineup for the La Liga visit of Eibar, with Karim Benzema among those to drop out.

Isco and Marco Asensio have been named in a front three alongside Cristiano Ronaldo as Real Madrid welcome Eibar to the Bernabeu this evening.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane starts without Karim Benzema for the visit of their 16th-placed opponents, instead leaving the French striker on the bench.

With Gareth Bale's enforced absence from the squad, Zidane instead turns to Asensio - a second-half sub in the 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur here last time out - to link up with attacking midfielder Isco and leading marksman Ronaldo in attack.

Nacho is utilised in the backline once again, meanwhile, with Dani Carvajal continuing to miss out with a heart problem, but Raphael Varane has shaken off an injury concern to start alongside Sergio Ramos in the heart of defence.

There is also a starting spot for Kiko Casilla, as confirmed earlier in the week, with first-choice stopper Keylor Navas nursing an adductor injury that will likely keep him out for two weeks - one of five changes from that Tottenham draw.

In terms of the visitors, boss Jose Luis Mendilibar has to make do without the likes of Yoel Rodriguez, Pedro Leon, Fran Rico, Ivan Alejo and Ivan Ramis due to injury.

Charles and Takashi Inui are used from the off, meanwhile, coming in for Sergi Enrich and Kike as Los Armeros aim to build on a run that has seen them score just three times in their first eight games.

Real Madrid: Casilla; Nacho, Varane, Ramos, Theo Hernandez; Casemiro, Modric, Ceballos; Isco, Asensio, Cristiano Ronaldo
Subs: Moha, Kroos, Benzema, Marcelo, Lucas, Llorente, Achraf

Eibar: Dmitrovic; Capa, Paulo Oliveira, Lomban, Jose Angel; Arbilla, Rivera, Escalante, Jordan; Charles, Inui
Subs: Riesgo, Galvez, Enrich, Bebe, Pena, Kike, Junca
