Preview: Wigan Athletic vs. Zulte Waregem

Sports Mole previews Thursday's Europa League encounter as Wigan Athletic welcome Zulte Waregem to the DW Stadium.

Wigan Athletic can all but secure their progress in the Europa League on Thursday if they beat Zulte Waregem at the DW Stadium.

The Latics will start the match in second place in Group D, five points behind runaway leaders Rubin Kazan.

However, Belgian outfit Zulte can leapfrog their opponents if they record only their second win of this season's competition.

The two teams played out a goalless draw when they faced each other in the reverse fixture two months ago.

Neither team have any fresh injury concern ahead of the game, but Wigan could welcome back Grant Holt, Jordi Gomez and James McArthur to their starting lineup following Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship.
