Rivage d'Or powers to Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeple Chase win

Davy Russell surges to victory in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeple Chase at Cheltenham on Rivage d'Or.

Davy Russell has claimed his second winner of day two at the Cheltenham Festival by winning on Rivage d'Or in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Steeple Chase.

The 16/1 shot powered past Any Currency in the final stages of the race after French fancy Toutancarmot crashed out with Quantitativeeasing while in a good position on the penultimate fence.

Any Currency (7/1) was second, with Uncle Junior (20/1) and Dogora (20/1) completing the places.

Russell tasted success for the second time on Ladies Day after he claimed the opening race on Windsor Park.
