Wicklow Brave triumphs in County Handicap Hurdle

Wicklow Brave surges to victory in the County Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Wicklow Brave has produced a dream run for Paul Townend to comfortably win the County Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

With two fences to go, a number of horses were in the running to emerge victorious in the second race of the day, but before the last, Wicklow Brave eased in front by five lengths.

After jumping the last with ease, the Willie Mullins-trained horse continued to canter to success, leaving the field in his wake as he won the 24-horse race by eight lengths.

Sort It Out was best of the rest in second place, closely followed by Quick Jack and Max Dynamite.
