Bath ease past Mogliano

Bath score nine tries as they ease to a win over Mogliano in the Challenge Cup.

Bath Rugby have maintained their unbeaten start to this season's Amlin Challenge Cup campaign with a comfortable win over Mogliano.

Dom Day opened the scoring after just five minutes, while Richard Lane added a first-half brace as the hosts struggled with the Aviva Premiership side's pace and power.

Despite having a comfortable lead, the visitors did not ease off after the break as Kyle Eastmond and Tom Biggs both found the try line, while Bath were also awarded a penalty try.

Andrea Ceccato managed to smash his way over to get Mogliano off the mark, but Day added a further try while Lane completed his hat-trick in the final moments of the game.

The result leaves Bath top in their pool, having won all three of their matches so far, while Mogliano are still looking for their first victory.
