Team News: Newcomer Stuart O'Keefe starts for Cardiff City against visiting Derby County

Cardiff City include new midfield signing Stuart O'Keefe in their starting XI as they prepare to welcome visiting Derby County in the Championship.

Cardiff City have handed a start to new signing Stuart O'Keefe as they welcome travelling Derby County in the Championship this afternoon.

The former Crystal Palace midfielder will sit alongside Peter Whittingham, Aron Gunnarsson, Craig Noone and Kadeem Harris in the middle of the park, while Alex Revell leads the line up top.

Visiting County have named an unchanged side since their last Championship clash, but Ivan Calero Ruiz does make it onto the bench in place of Raul Albentosa.

Derby continue with Real Madrid loanee Omar Mascarell in the middle, while striker Darren Bent has to settle for a place on the bench despite scoring two goals in midweek.

Cardiff City: Moore; Peltier, Malone, Morrison, Connolly, Whittingham, O'Keefe, Gunnarsson, Noone, Harris, Revell

Derby County: Grant; Forsyth, Buxton, Keogh, Dawkins, Hendrick, Martin, Ward, Hughes, Shotton, Mascarell
