Leeds Rhinos thrash Widnes Vikings in Super League

Leeds Rhinos maintain their winning start to the season with a comfortable 38-6 win over Widnes Vikings.

Leeds Rhinos continued their good start to the new Super League season as they beat Widnes Vikings 38-6 tonight.

Leeds scored the opening try after 16 minutes when Tom Briscoe broke forward and set up Zak Hardaker to score, before Widnes hit back immediately through Manase Manuokafoa.

After half time Leeds ran riot as Ryan Hall put them ahead by scoring a try in the corner, Adam Cuthbertson stretched over just 10 minutes later.

Briscoe sparked a flurry of tries for Leeds late on as he dashed 60 metres to score his side's fourth, before Danny McGuire, Kallum Watkins and Kevin Sinfield also scored.
