Wigan Warriors dominate second half to storm past Leeds Rhinos

Matthew Bowen scores two second-half tries as Wigan Warriors beat Leeds Rhinos 27-12.

Wigan Warriors regained their best form with a convincing 27-12 win over Leeds Rhinos this evening.

The Warriors made a fast start as Dan Sarginson scored a try after seven minutes, showing great strength to plant the ball down in the corner.

However, Leeds responded well and scored two quickfire tries through Adam Cuthbertson and Joel Moon.

George Williams got Wigan back in it towards half time, before Joe Burgess raced 60 metres to put Wigan ahead.

Leeds huffed and puffed after the break, but they were picked off on two occasions as Matthew Bowen helped himself to two tries in clinical fashion.
