Barcelona are reportedly making Alvaro Morata their number one transfer target this month, with the Spanish outfit wanting to sign the Juventus striker.

Juventus forward Alvaro Morata is still Barcelona's number one transfer target this month, according to a report.

The Spanish outfit are in the market for a striker, especially since Sergio Aguero had to retire earlier this season due to health reasons.

Xavi Hernandez has already signed Ferran Torres in this transfer market from Manchester City, but the club are hoping to bolster their squad depth further.

According to Marca, Barcelona are looking at Morata as their main target right now, with the striker having LaLiga experience from his time with Atletico Madrid.

However, no deal could happen without some players being sold, and Juventus are expected to make negotiations difficult for the Catalan side.

Morata has played 21 times this season in Serie A and has scored five goals in that time.
