Martello Tower wins Foxhunter Chase Challenge Cup

Martello Tower, ridden by Adrian Heskin, wins the Foxhunter Chase Challenge Cup at the Cheltenham Festival.

Martello Tower has outstayed Milsean to win a thrilling Foxhunter Chase Challenge Cup at the Cheltenham Festival.

Milsean, ridden by Danny Mullins, looked to be on course for a gruelling victory after making all of the running during the three-mile contest.

However, despite maintaining a strong challenge, Milsean came under pressure from Martello Tower, who is trained by Mullins's mother Margaret, as they approached the line.

Martello Tower, ridden by Adrian Heskin, had the most energy left in the tank to edge out the long-time leader, with No More Heroes finishing in third place.
