Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Monday's FA Cup third-round clash with Oxford United.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is hopeful of having Emile Smith Rowe available for Monday night's FA Cup third-round tie with Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium.

The 22-year-old has been sidelined since September after undergoing groin surgery, but he has made his return to training and might be considered for a spot on the bench here.

However, Gabriel Jesus (knee) and Reiss Nelson (thigh) remain sidelined for the 14-time champions, who will be expected to make a plethora of changes versus League One opposition.

Matt Turner is primed to replace Aaron Ramsdale in goal, while Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney should occupy the full-back roles while Cedric Soares discusses a possible January move to Fulham.

Rob Holding should also come into the backline, but William Saliba may hold his place, with Arteta potentially viewing this game as an ideal chance for the rusty Frenchman to regain some much-needed confidence.

Mohamed Elneny and Albert Sambi Lokonga can be expected to partner up in the engine room, while Martin Odegaard may continue in the number 10 role if Fabio Vieira starts out wide with Marquinhos.

Eddie Nketiah is seemingly in no danger of losing his spot up top, and Arteta could also consider handing minutes to the likes of Matt Smith, Lino Sousa or Ethan Nwaneri here.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Turner; Tomiyasu, Holding, Saliba, Tierney; Elneny, Lokonga; Marquinhos, Odegaard, Vieira; Nketiah
