Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Alaves.

Barcelona will be missing eight first-team players for Saturday's La Liga clash with Alaves.

Ferran Torres became the club's latest player to pick up an injury, with the Spaniard suffering a thigh problem during the 1-0 win over Osasuna on Wednesday night.

The attacker is now facing a five-week spell on the sidelines, while Joao Felix, Sergi Roberto, Alejandro Balde, Raphinha, Marcos Alonso, Gavi and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are also on the treatment table.

However, Inigo Martinez, who has resumed group training after a muscular problem, is back in the squad.

Vitor Roque scored his first goal for Barcelona off the bench against Osasuna, but the recent arrival is not yet being considered for starts, meaning that Torres's starting spot from Wednesday could be given to Fermin Lopez.

Andreas Christensen is also likely to come back into the XI this weekend, with the Denmark international expected to replace Pau Cubarsi at the back.

Head coach Xavi is unlikely to make any further changes, though, with Lamine Yamal set to start again despite concerns over fatigue at the end of the Osasuna contest.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Pena; Kounde, Araujo, Christensen, Cancelo; Gundogan, Pedri, F de Jong; Yamal, Lewandowski, F Lopez
